PRESTO GEL anti-inflammatory gel with applicator for haemorrhoids 25 g is a medical device intended for use in cases of haemorrhoids and for their prophylaxis.

Fast and effective relief for haemorrhoids: the gel effectively reduces pain, itching, irritation, inflammation, sensitivity and other unpleasant sensations in the anal area and supports natural recovery. The action is fast and effective – the gel forms a physical barrier and thereby protects the area it covers and impedes the activity of bacteria there, which is the main cause of inflammation, of reduced permeability of the blood vessels and of the other symptoms that accompany haemorrhoids.

Quality management systems that conform to ISO standards are applied in production: ISO 22716:2007, ISO 9001:2015, ISO 13485:2016. For prophylaxis and for a better result, it is also recommended to use Presto wipes and Presto liquid soap.

How to use

Apply to the affected rectal area 1–2 times a day and rub it in gently. Before use, wash the area with warm water and soap and dry it with a soft cloth. 4–6 times a day, apply the gel into the anus with the applicator (preferably after emptying the bowel). Apply the gel to clean skin after every emptying of the bowel.

The gel is suitable for men and women of any age, for pregnant women and women who have recently given birth, and for children over 12 years of age. In children under 12 years of age the gel is used on a doctor’s prescription and under a doctor’s supervision.

Ingredients

Double-distilled UV-processed water, triethanolamine, carbomer, Aloe Barbadensis (common aloe) leaf extract, Geranium Thunbergii (Thunberg’s geranium) extract, Pogostemon Cablin (patchouli) leaf extract.

Side effects: the gel contains natural ingredients and no side effects from the use of the gel have been observed. If the haemorrhoidal sites are enlarging, a slight burning sensation lasting a couple of minutes may occur during the first applications of the gel. The burning sensation during use of the gel arises from its disinfecting properties. With continuous use of the gel this sensation disappears.
